From the outset, Applico has had a focus on connectivity between NAV and other applications. We have completed interface projects for a web shop, retail, timesheet, payroll, procurement and service call logging systems. We are currently working with IT Group to build an integrated solution for facilities management and engineering services using Dynamics NAV 2009 with Dynamics CRM 4.0.

 

In 2009 we partnered with Codify to enhance the NAV offering for Project Management in a multicurrency environment for the Oil Industry and completed a major implementation for a leading oil service company. Codify decided to focus on their AX, CRM and .Net development, so we have an ongoing agreememt to support this solution directly.

 

The key to successful implementations embraces many aspects of the process but the single most important factor is the successful relationship of the customer and their software partner. Applico develops partnerships and ensures that the project objectives are realised."

 

Bill Brotherstone, Director at Applico has 30 years of experience in information systems implementation and development. He has worked in senior IT positions with two NASDAQ listed companies, in the UK, US and NZ and worked as a developer with the state oil company of Qatar. He was Consultancy Manager with an 'Inner Circle'  Microsoft Partner, the leading provider of NAV-based construction industry solutions for several years.

 

Since 2000 Bill has had involvement in around 80 NAV/Navision sites in the UK and Irish Republic. He has managed implementations in Distribution, Manufacturing, Service Industries, Charities, Construction, Engineering and Oil & Gas. He is now focusing on support and implementation of a number of Dynamics NAV and CRM 4.0 sites.

Company history
 
The company was formed in June 2008 with the encouragement of Charles Briggs MD and Ian Milligan (then Operations Director) at Capito Ltd in Livingston and John Edwards at Microsoft.
 
Applico became a Microsoft Partner and Capito became our first customer, for whom we provide NAV and CRM support and through them, have provided consultancy services to NHS Highland and to companies within the Murray Group.
 
In October 2008 Applico signed agreements with Codify Ltd in Aberdeen and IT Group in Cambuslang, Glasgow, both Microsoft Dynamics Partners, to provide specialist services.
 
In June 2009 Applico became a Microsoft Solution Provider and contracted with Castle Computer Services Limited.
 
In March 2010 Applico became a Microsoft Certified Partner.
