Applico's clients have been upgraded to either NAV5, NAV 2009 SP1 or NAV 2009 R2. One of our core skills in NAV is upgrade, particularly where the earlier donor version was heavily bespoked. We can offer this as a service in conjunction with your existing NAV Partner.
Why is upgrade important?
Version 7 is due out late in 2012 and will no longer support the NAV "Classic Client". Only the Role Tailored Client (RLT) will prevail. To get on to RTL, systems must be upgraded through Version 6 (NAV 2009) to enable the conversion of forms to RTL pages. The longer a system is left on an old version, the bigger the job to upgrade.
Applico can effectively reimplement your existing, older version on the latest version, whilst maintaining all your data.
Where versions are pre-Navision 4.0, we will always re-implement the inventory module rather than upgrade it, due to deficiencies in the earlier versions.
